| Message From GDA's President |
| 10 Years of Excellence |
|
It is a great pleasure to welcome all of you to GDA's Fall Newsletter.
I must begin by calling your attention to our anniversary--GDA has completed ten years of excellence. Born from a small team of four, we are now a 350-member company with design centers in the US and India and significant presence in Europe and other parts of the world. I would like to thank every one of you for all the support you've |

given us; we know that your continued support and blessings will take us to new heights.
As some of you may remember, our early years were filled with excitement, fun, learning, and engaging challenges--until September 11, 2001. Then came the
cost-cutting, refocusing, and regrouping to get back on the path to growth. These changes were like having a baby and building a house at the same time. It seemed impossible, yet here we are in 2006, back in growth mode again with support from countless people right here and in India, making this day significant in so many ways.
Though ten years is a tremendously long period to try and cover in one short summary, I want to pick salient points from founding year and current year.

|
| 1996: We received the first check from Nexar, allowing us to lease the office space in Silicon Valley and close on the first contract.
2006: Here we are in 2006 with success with our newly added CDMS business, success with more large customers, and an eye towards successfully achieving predictability with profitability metrics comparing to India 's outsourcing industry. We were selected by the San Jose Business Journal as one of their “Fast 50”, and Freescale honored us with Partner of the Year status for 2006.

Throughout all this, we've learned that if we have a dream supported by the core team, we can make things happen. The key is to remain flexible and be motivated at all times-while keeping our customers happy at all times.
As we look ahead, GDA will be focusing on vertical markets, leveraging our horizontal strengths, increasing the ratio of US/India engineers from 1:2 to 1:5, and increasing revenue per customer. We have strategies in place to make things happen internally via your support paired with our team's hard, smart work and determination, as well as externally through tactical and strategic partnerships. 2006 is sure to be another banner year for GDA.
Once again, thank you for taking your valuable time to read this and support us in our journey. Also, I personally request you all to send feedback for this newsletter. This celebration is about each one of you, after all.
Kind Regards,
A.G.Karunakaran "AGK"
GDA President |
