GDA’s Security IP solutions allow customer to pick and chose out of several Security IP solutions depending on their data and complexity of Key required to encrypt it. All the Security IP resides in GDA’s US office to satisfy Export restrictions.

 
     
 
Triple DES

Triple DES (TDES) is a secure variant of Data Encryption Standard (DES). It was first proposed by IBM in 1978 and specified in ANSI X9.52 standard.

AES

Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) also known as Rijndael cipher was standardized by NIST in 2001 and published in FIPS 197. It is listed among the NSA Suite B list of secure algorithms.

MD5

MD5 was developed by Ronald Rivest of MIT in 1991 and published as an internet standard RFC 1321 in Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

SHA-256

Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA) was standardized by NIST in 2002 and published in FIPS 180-2. It is listed among the NSA Suite B list of secure algorithms.

Smart Card Controller IF

GDA's Smart card controller core is compliant to ISO 7816-3 specification. The core is a technology independent, fully synchronous design. The controller functions at 2 to 66 MHz.
