At HCL America, AGK was responsible for design services activities, offshore project co-ordination, and vendor management for HCL India's research and development activities. At Opti, AGK worked extensively with systems manufacturers, such as IBM, Compaq, and companies in the Asian Pacific. AGK joined Trident Microsystems, a fabless PC graphics chipset company, as the Director of Marketing and Applications Engineering.
Then, in 1996, AGK co-founded GDA Technologies and has led the company from a 4 person operation to a robust enterprise of 300 employees with multiple design centers around the world. AGK has two US patents related to upgradeable computing platforms and is a Charter member of the TiE organization as well as the founding member of the CEO Leadership Forum.
In his spare time, AGK volunteers at his local community soccer organization
as a coach and/or referee, spends free time hiking, and working closely with
Families for Children--a charitable organization supporting children in
Coimbatore, India. Additionally, AGK likes to travel and explore new places
with his family.
