| Smart Phone Reference Platform |
| Overview: |
The Smart Phone Reference Platform is a modular PDA phone reference design based upon the Freescale iMX31 multi-media application processor. The platform's goal is to help manufacturers significantly reduce the development time for enhanced multimedia feature phones. One way this modular reference design accomplishes that is in allowing OEMs to evaluate different subsystems such as GSM/EDGE, WiFi, Bluetooth, LCD, and camera. This can significantly reduce overall qualification and development time for new products, speeding time to market.

| Product Options: |
| OEMs can chose from several hardware and software bundles for the Smart Phone Reference Platform, beginning with a fully modular hardware platform. A complete set of display/video and wireless subsystems drivers is also available, allowing designs to easily be converted into mid-to-high end PDA/Smartphones. A GUI completely based upon OPIE is available as well as a choice of OS's, including Embedded Linux (standard), Microsoft Windows Smartphone, and Symbian. |
